BEST FIRST KISS EVER!!! Yepp, that was the best first kiss scene by far! This book was H.O.T. The sex scenes were romantic (sometimes) and straight up scorching (a lot of the time). I really liked the story line as well. The middle of the book kind of lost my attention a bit, but by the end I was crying like a baby.
I felt a connection to Samantha right away. She was a girly girl but she was tough as nails. There are things from her past that she just can't understand and they are never far from her mind. A chance phone call brings Slade into her life. He is most definitely a womanizing man whore. She sees that but it doesn't take away from the attraction she feels toward him.
Slade was hooked on her just from hearing her (Angel) voice. He can't stop thinking about her which is odd for him considering he has the whole love em and leave em kind of attitude. There is something about her that just grabs him and won't let go.
Once things start to unravel from her past she has to decide if she is going let Slade be there for her or if she wants to go it alone. Although there was no huge cliffhanger at the end, I was still wanting more. Hopefully this is not the end of their story. Great book and if you read it, be sure to have some tissues handy for the end.
