About this author...
#1 Bestselling Author, Beverly Preston has been a stay at home mom for 21 years, although she prefers the title Domestic Engineer. Along the way, Beverly worked side by side with her husband Don, the love of her life, designing, building and selling custom homes. As her children begin to venture out on their own, she’s left to shed a tear—for a minute—wonder what’s next in life, and embrace the feeling of empowerment that surely must’ve been wrapped in a present she received on her fortieth birthday.

If Beverly isn’t at home riding her spin bike, you’ll find her spinning richly emotional and sinfully sexy romance stories.

Review ~ 4 Stars
Let me start by saying that I read Beverly's previous book, 'No More Wasted Time,' and loved it. I was excited when I got the opportunity to read this book and learn more about some of her characters. This story focuses on Shayla, who is a younger woman who had a rough childhood which her Uncle Tommy basically rescued her from. She fills her days acting as her uncles assistant.....did I mention her uncle happens to be a famous movie star and infamous for his womanizing? If Hollywood didn't happen to keep her busy enough, she is also in a long term relationship with Mat, who is not the best guy in my opinion and always puts his family's political career over Shayla.

The story does a complete turn around when her uncle calls her and says he needs her to come to Greece because he is getting married. This is where the book gets interesting because, "Sometimes at the precise moment, Fate intercedes."

Shayla meets John, the son of the woman her uncle is marrying, and immediately is drawn to him as much as she tries to stay away. As they open up and get to know one another, Shayla learns that family and true love aren't just in fairytales and she can have her own happily ever after....if she can just accept it, that is.

I can't wait to see what Beverly Preston has in store for us all next. This was a great read, and anyone who needs their faith restored in that temptress we call Fate should definitely read this book.
