Review
At the start of the book, the main character, Anna is pondering her life as it is now. Then it flashes to the story of her life from teen to well into her adult years.
She faced struggles as a young mother raising a child on her own. Being that she is a single parent, she and Justin formed a very strong mother - son bond. Dealing with her son as he grows into a strong willed, independent teen was a challenge. Justin, as so many teens do, pushed his mother away and soon their relationship became strained. Strained to the point that he moved away and lost contact with her.
This was an interesting feel good book with a spiritual tone to it, but nothing overwhelming in that way. The ending of the book leaves you sad for Anna yet at peace with the conclusions she has come to about her life. Not much more can be said without spoiling the story! I give Entrusted 3.5 Stars.
